This is one of the most fun, thought-provoking and interesting paranormal series I have read in a while. I loved each and every entry, all of which guided the arc of the story to Leo and Mora, previously known as Fate.I can't really get into the storyline without giving away too much, and I would hate to deprive anyone of the pleasure of discovering this story for themselves. Instead, I will say the ongoing theme of good vs evil, and how realistic those labels are is intriguing. I *love* this concept, and the exploration of shades of gray.
Leo has not been likable over the course of the books, but he manages to be redeemed in Tempted by Fate. I like that he wasn't magically transformed on the first page into the perfect hero. He still has a few moments where you have to shake your head a little, but overall, he became a worthy hero.
Mora is awesome, a true Cynthia Eden shero. She is smart, knows her worth, and isn't afraid of much out there. When the danger is real, she is smart enough to take the help being offered. Mora has a lot of depth, and a lot of surprises for Leo.
Bottom line - Tempted by Fate was the perfect conclusion to the fantastically fun Bad Things series. Highly recommend the entire series.

Leo is a Tortured protagonist. The good guy that isn't always so good. I like watching the relationship develop between Leo and Mora. The story had a Twist. Although I'll admit, it was one that I did see coming. But still it was a nice way to end the stories. I was happy to see The Return/cameos of Luke and Mina from the first book.
This series is so full of twists and turns and this book was going to play out... you must read! I love the way this author's mind works because some of it I had guessed but the stuff I didn't- wow! Read the first in this series and when you get to Leo's and Mora's story you will beg the author for more stories!
I knew this would be a big book in this series. It's stand alone but trust me the other books are great. I had an idea of what was going to happen but got tossed in so many new clues i was guessing till the end. A great end too.
I love it when I'm right! The fact that I suspected the major plot twist since book two did not detract one iota from my enjoyment of this series. The hints were subtle and sprinkled throughout the series. I enjoyed watching Leo find his love and Mora was a fun character to read. I would love to see more stories about this world!
I stumbled upon this series and had to own every single book!! This is one of the best paranormal romance series I have read in a long while. They are definite Must Haves! You will not regret buying these books, however, you might regret the lack of sleep they may cause! Cynthia Eden, you have just joined my favorite author list!
Another great book in the Bad Things series! The series starts with Luke, Lord of the Dark, and ends with Leo, Lord of the Light. This is the story of Leo and Mora, who is also Fate. Leo has been searching for Mora ever since she ran from him centuries ago following his betrayal. He has finally found her, and things are about to heat up! The characters are well-rounded, and this another gripping, sexy read to add to Cynthia Eden's works.
I am interested in the outcome of the good versus evil but not interested in Leo and Mora (Fate) as a couple. I think because Leo was able to walk away from her in the past. I also don’t find him as bad arse as Luke. This book is missing something because I was able to put it down and get back to it days later. It actually took me a week to get through this book. Can’t pinpoint what put me off --a second chance novel, soul mates don’t walk away from each other, Leo kneeled at Mora’s feet which made him seem less and he’s happy for any scraps Mora gives him. Leo also lets Ram, an angel, talk to him like he’s nothing, what’s up with that? You’re supposedly the Lord of the Light! Mora decides to forgive Leo for the past because time is short, not because she loves him. By the time I got to 80% of the story, I started skimming through to get to the outcome. Then we learn that Mora has been playing everyone like pieces on a chess. Apparently, its hard work keeping good and evil balanced and she’s tired. Oh bring out the pity party. After all the lead up and anticipation in the past novels about the upcoming battle between Lord of the Dark and Lord of the Light…nothing. It’s not that I wanted the brothers to fight and kill each other but I thought there would be something from that vision that wasn’t seen. Like an imposter or bringing one back from the dead.
