Is it ever too late for the gift of goodbye?
Melissa Dance was eight years old when her mother died. They never got to say goodbye.
Seventeen years later, Melissa is handed a journal. As she smooths open the pages and begins to read her mother’s words, she is instantly transported back to her childhood.
But returning to her past is painful and memories of her mother’s beautiful face are a cruel reminder to Melissa that she’ll never see her again.
As Melissa slowly makes her way through the precious book, reading the snippets of advice and cooking the dishes from the recipes she is also shocked to learn of her mother’s secrets – secrets that if shared, could change Melissa’s world forever.
A beautifully written, heartbreaking and ultimately uplifting story of a mother’s loving legacy for her daughter – perfect for fans of Rowan Coleman, Lucy Dillon and JoJo Moyes.

The author deftly explores loss, love and human foibles. She captures the risk of loss that we take each time we allow ourselves to be open to a relationship. Her characters are well delineated and engaging. This book is well written and captures the readers heart from the beginning until the end. The very sad parts of this book are offset by the resilience we all possess. the reader finishes the book quickly only to wish that there was more of it to read. I highly recommend this excellent book.Product details

Recipes for Melissa The heartbreaking story of a mother goodbye to her daughter edition by Teresa Driscoll Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This was feel good book, even though there are some very sad parts to the story. It is fiction but author made it believable. I could almost taste some of the recipes Eleanor shared with her daughter. I enjoyed reading this story and anyone looking for just a nice story will love it.
Kept me interested till the end. Sometimes felt the characters stalled around a bit longer than needed but I enjoyed the book. Would recommend.
Standing ovation is deserved for this fantastic story! Not only did it touch my heart but a place deep in my soul. My sister recently had a double mastectomy and just got her BAC results. I'm going to

I enjoyed her other book more, but having said that, this is a lovely book about the honest reflections of a dying Mother trying to give her daughter a look that is both backward and forward. It was well written and touching. I enjoyed and would recommend this book to others.
Just finished this book after reading her second released book. Both books were very good and well written . I enjoyed both storylines and expect many more books by Teresa as I know I will be looking for them.
Have you ever read a book that was so good, as you get toward the end you want to slow your reading so it won’t end but find you just keep reading because you cannot stop? This is one of those books. Having lost my own mother to cancer when I was a child this story was emotional for me, but what a lovely read. A wonderful mother, daughter, father, family tale.
